We may be a national company, but Hull’s where our heart is. From our humble beginnings in the former Trippett Street Baths, we’ve worked hard to make technology easy for our customers.
We were the first in the UK to offer unmetered internet access and the first to offer ADSL broadband. We pioneered video on demand (a little ahead of its time) and our Lightstream service means Hull is the only UK city where ultrafast fibre broadband is being rolled out as standard.
In the last year we’ve done more than ever to bridge the digital divide. We’ve introduced more affordable internet bundles and low-cost devices. We’ve helped hundreds of people stay in touch through Skype, Google, email and Facebook at the free sessions we hold in our online centre and out in the community.
Since introducing our KCOM in the Community programme in 2010 we’ve supported hundreds of local charities, schools and community groups, donating more than 120 grants and thousands of volunteering hours. We’ve supported the Hull 10k, Freedom Festival, Humber Street Sesh, the Ferens Art Gallery and more.

Need more tailored support? We can help via a British Sign Language interpreter and have even had the occasional conversation through Google Translate. All you have to do is ask.
