About us

Our KCOM in the Community programme is all about helping to make Hull and East Yorkshire a better place to live, work and invest.

We’re not just another company ‘giving back’. Hull is where our heart is, and our community activity is focused on four areas:

  1. Inspiring and supporting children and young people to fulfil their potential and be the best they can be
  2. Supporting and getting involved in activities, events and projects that make a positive difference to local people
  3. Celebrating local business success and providing practical support and advice to small businesses to help the local economy thrive and grow
  4. Helping local people develop the skills and confidence they need to make the most of the internet

We support local charities including Hull Children’s University and Cat Zero; we give community grants to worthy causes every three months; we run educational activities in dozens of local schools each year and we help people get online at our regular internet drop-in sessions.
