About KCOM in the community

We’re not just another company ‘giving back’ – Hull is where our heart is, and we want to make a positive difference to the region that matters most to us.

Our community investment programme is focused on four areas:

  1. Helping young people achieve their potential
  2. Supporting groups that are invested in creating a thriving local community
  3. Helping people get online
  4. Supporting local business and regional success

Whether we’re providing grants for worthy causes, holding drop-in events to help people learn how to use the internet or helping local schools prepare youngsters for a bright future, our community activities are all about making Hull and East Yorkshire a better place to live, work and invest.

“We are thrilled to be awarded a community grant by KCOM. The funding will enable us to run a variety of inclusive craft sessions for people affected by disability in Hull.”

"The support we receive from Brendon and the team at KCOM is invaluable. They can always be relied upon to support our schools with mock interviews, careers fairs, and activity days."
