In 2016 we refreshed our brand and KC in the Community became KCOM in the Community. We introduced a new visual identity for the business but the ethos and values of our community programme remain exactly the same.
For us, it's all about helping make Hull and East Yorkshire a better place to live, work and visit.
KCOM in the Community has three strands:
We've been allocating community grants on a quarterly basis for the past 10 years and these have helped to make a difference to local charities, community groups, schools and sports clubs.
But it's not all about providing funding. Our people regularly go out into the local community to offer their expertise and support to schools, charities and community groups. Volunteering forms a big part of our programme and it's something we're really proud of.
Every three months we allocate three KCOM Community Grants of £500 to local causes and projects in the Hull and East Riding area.
The KCOM Invest Fund has been established to provide start-up and growth financing for businesses in the digital and technology sectors.
Through our KCOM in the Community programme we offer a range of support to various organisations throughout East Yorkshire.
