He's one of our own... Rembrandt at the Ferens


Have you heard about the theory that renown Dutch artist Rembrandt van Rijn lived in Hull and York for a short while?

Rembrandt's The Ship Builder and his Wife painting is on display at Ferens Art Gallery until the end of August, so KCOM Culture explored whether or not he spent time on these shores.
