Hull Philharmonic Orchestra performs at Hull City Hall on Saturday, February 25 where its members will showcase a bespoke piece of music from Sir Karl Jenkins, widely regarded as the world's most popular living composer.
6000 Pipes celebrates Hull City Hall and its organ and, unusually, it also features the Hull Philharmonic Orchestra musicians as singers in a Humber-style shanty in honour of the city's trawlermen.
KCOM Culture spoke to members of the orchestra, including musical director Andrew Penny MBE, and captured a taster of what was to come during their sold-out show.
