KCOM Culture swung by the University of Hull’s Brynmor Jones Library to explore their exhibition on poet and writer Philip Larkin, who spent three decades working there as a librarian.

Larkin: New Eyes Each Year explores connections between Larkin’s life and work in Hull, and the writing that led him to being described as Britain’s best loved poet.
We also toured the university’s refurbished Middleton Hall and its Icelandic Cairns sculptures, which are on loan until October.
