KCOM supports careers day at Priory Primary School
Children from Priory Primary were given an insight into the world of work recently as the school held a Careers Day supported by a number of local businesses, including KCOM.
The Neighbourhood Network Hull awards evening was held recently with volunteers and groups from across the city being honoured for their work in the community.
It was a fantastic evening of celebrating some great achievements and KCOM was delighted to be involved as an event sponsor.
Brendon Smurthwaite, KCOM’s Community Coordinator, said:
“This was the second successive year that we’ve supported the awards and it was a real privilege to be involved.
“There were so many people in the room who have done so much for their community and picking the category winners must have been a very tough job for the judging panel.
“Every nominee was a winner really and it was great to see so many people supporting the event.”
