We always need a strong and satisfying playlist to get us in the mood for whatever we’re up to, from working and exercising, to chilling out and spending time with the family. Whether you’re looking for something upbeat to inspire you at the gym or a nice set of tunes to get you safely through a long day at the office, we’ve found some of the best playlists across several streaming platforms to help you start 2019 off with a musical bang.

 

Spotify – Best of 2019

Currently containing 84 songs, this playlist has compiled the best hits of 2018 from artists such as Ariana Grande, Post Malone and Drake. And whilst the last twelve months of music brought us a whole load of new tunes, that doesn’t mean they’ve missed out on some golden oldies – one of the songs on this playlist is Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, a song that has stood the test of time since way back in the ‘70s.

iTunes – Coachella 2019 Lineup Playlist

One of the most popular music festivals in the world, the Coachella lineup for 2019 has already been announced, and iTunes has put together all of the best hits from the talented artists set to perform.

There are a whopping 161 songs on this list, including hits from various genres like Redbone by Childish Gambino, Make Me Feel by Janelle Monae and Gucci Gang by Lil Pump.

Amazon Music – Ones to Watch 2019

Every year brings new surprises when it comes to popular bands and artists, so Amazon has created a collection of songs that you might not have heard of yet, but will thank yourself for discovering early on.

Artists featured on this list include Yonaka, who gained themselves quite a bit of popularity last year through Radio 1, and Sam Fender, who was named in the BBC’s Sound of 2018 list, as well as having a hit song in popular video game FIFA 19. Other awesome names on the 25-strong list are Flohio, Grace Carter and Ten Tonnes.
