Stars in Their Eyes 2019

The Howden AFC MinsterMen will soon be embracing some of the world’s greatest hits and putting on belting displays specially for you. All money raised on the night will contribute towards their development fund to help create a new and exciting sporting facility that the town desperately requires.

The Stars in Their Eyes event takes place at Howden Working Men’s Club from 7:30pm on Saturday 26th January.

A Night with John Barnes

A night to remember for any football fan, this event gives you the opportunity to meet John Barnes at the start of the evening, so you can shake his hand, have your photo taken and ask him to sign something for you. This is followed by his hilarious performance live on stage, talking about his time as a player and sharing his thoughts on what’s going on in the game right now. Expect a few stories you wouldn’t hear on TV or radio!

A Night with John Barnes takes place on Thursday 7th February from 6:30pm at the Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel.

Harry Potter Night

Calling all young wizards, witches, muggles and students of Hogwarts – Hull Central Library is putting on a spectacular evening full of storytelling, crafting and magical mayhem.

Step through the wall of Platform 9¾ and let the Sorting Hat choose your House. Will you be Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin? Take part in tons of wizardly fun with costumes, books, fun activities, fantastic beasts and potion making!

Don’t miss out on Harry Potter Night on Friday 8th February, with activities starting from 4:30pm.

Prosecco Event

Prosecco Events UK are delighted to present their Sparkling Prosecco weekend, featuring unbridled pleasure in the form of more than twenty different types of prosecco, champagne and cocktails that will really rock your world!

Featuring live music, a DJ and great food, with afternoon and evening sessions, there will be plenty of time for everyone to experience the Sparkling Prosecco Event phenomenon.

As well as prosecco, there will also be an exciting range of beers and a Gin Bar, so there’s something for everyone no matter their preference.

The Prosecco Event takes place at Hull Minster on Saturday 16th February, starting at 12 noon.

Beverley Minster Spring Wedding Fair

East Yorkshire's premier wedding fair will play host to more than forty of the region’s most prestigious wedding suppliers, all on hand to showcase their products and services to excited brides-to-be. There’ll also be a range of entertainment put on throughout the day, including live music and a dazzling catwalk show.

Exhibitions taking place at the fair will include bridal wear, men’s wear, luxury cars and wedding transport, venues, catering and mobile bars, flowers, jewellery, cakes, tiaras and much, much more.
