Top Chef is a reality competition series that features chefs battling it out in various intense culinary challenges. They are judged by a panel of professional chefs and other notables from the food and wine industry, culminating in one or more of the contestants being eliminated in each episode.
The Bi Life
A bit of a twist on your average Love Island plot, The Bi Life is a British dating programme that features a group of bisexual people exploring the dating scene of Barcelona. In the process, they receive dating advice and support from each other and their host, RuPaul’s Drag Race star Courtney Act.
The show has been noted in media for promoting bisexual visibility, which is not usually the case with most reality dating shows.
Snapped Snapped is a true crime series that airs on Oxygen and has been running since August 2004. The show primarily depicts high-profile or bizarre cases that involve women accused of murder, with each episode outlining whether the motivation for committing the crime was revenge against a cheating husband or lover, a large insurance payoff, or the ending to years of abuse.
Though the series primarily focuses on crimes committed by women, a large number of episodes feature men who conspired with the central female perpetrator.
Below Deck is an American series on Bravo that chronicles the lives of several crew members who work and reside aboard a mega-yacht during charter season. The show follows the crew as they deal with their personal issues in order to make their professional careers work.
Each episode features a different group of guests, and a different host of problems that need to be dealt with. Currently in its sixth season, all new episodes are available to stream on hayu as they air.
Unanchored Unanchored follows a group of young and elite professionals as they embark on a journey full of wanderlust and self-discovery. Led by Captain Jack Royds, the crew attends one of the most coveted and exclusive annual floating festivals in the world, The BucketLust, in which 35 catamarans and nearly 350 people set sail through the Bahamas.
